• The greatest way to experience Egypt is by booking a yacht based experience with a large group or joining a large group. You'll be able to access multiple flat water spots and get the most out of your vacation. It's a once in a lifetime experience that can't be missed. 
• Take a few extra days for tourist activites, particularly in Cairo, before or after your kite trip. Tour the Great Pyrimids of Giza, visit the local markets, stay in the heart of the city and enjoy local cusine. Egypt is a place unlike any other in the world with a rich history and unique sites. You'll want to take advantage of this. Book a desert tour on ATVs or overland vehicles. 

Egypt is one of the few kite destinations that has year round, consistent wind. There truly isn't a bad time to visit Egypt for a kite trip, but the summer months will mean no wetsuit and have the most consistent and strongest wind. In the spring and fall, you might need a shorty and a 3/2 in the winter months. Tourism is also pretty much year round in the region, so you won't have to worry much about a busy season to contend with. If you choose to take a boat based kite safari, you will be truly remote and feel like you have the whole world to yourself, only seeing other groups occasionally. 

The other perk of Egypt is that it is perfect for beginners. Tons of flat water areas, which have mostly sandbars underneath, and shallow water that you can stand in make for the ideal conditions for new riders. There are plenty of camps in the area where you can join others who are also learning. The shore based camps are an incredible way to quickly progress in the sport of kiteboarding. For more advanced riders, the powerful wind and flats make for great speed riding and the sandbars near shore create a natural playground. With a boat, you can access multiple zones and find incredible, deserted spots for a session.
