One main reason you should choose Zanzibar for your next kite trip is the fantastic weather. The island has a tropical climate, with warm temps and smooth wind all year round. The trade winds are consistent from June to September and December to February, making these the best months to rip. The wind speed typically ranges from 10 to 25 knots, creating ideal conditions for pulling out the 6 or 8m kite. During the hotter months, the temperature ranges from 28°C to 32°C, and in winter, it varies from 24°C to 28°C. No wetsuit required!
