Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing

Crescent Spur, British Columbia, Canada

Crescent Spur Heli-skiing is a family-owned heliskiing and heliboarding Operator based in the tiny community of Crescent Spur, British Columbia, roughly 160 km east of Prince George. Founded by Mark and Regina Aubrey, the operation sits in the Robson Valley between the northern Cariboo Mountains and the Canadian Rockies. Their tenure covers more than 1,500 square miles across both ranges, so the guides can choose terrain each day based on snow, weather, and flying conditions in either range. What sets Crescent Spur apart is how few people share that terrain. The lodge hosts a maximum of 20 skiers and riders per week. The terrain changes with the season. Early winter brings frequent storms, deep tree skiing, and open subalpine slopes. Mid-winter opens the full program: gladed trees, big alpine bowls, and glaciers. Spring adds longer days, alpine and glacier powder, and mountain picnics in the sun. The core offering is a 6-day/7-night package on fixed weekly dates, with shorter options on select early- and late-season dates. Semi-private packages suit individuals and small groups sharing the lodge. A limited number of private packages for groups of up to 10 are available in early winter and late spring. Packages include a night at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport before the trip, scheduled transfers between Prince George and the lodge, lodge accommodation, all meals, and use of specialized powder skis, poles, and a Mammut avalanche airbag. Every stay starts with comprehensive safety training. Evenings are spent at the ranch-style lodge, which has a hot tub, sauna, on-site massage, and chef-prepared meals built around fresh, local ingredients. Outside of ski season, Crescent Spur also runs heli-fishing and heli-hiking trips from the same lodge. Contact Heli to check dates and book.
