About
The Rider Experience is a UK-based kitesurfing travel company that runs kite cruises and a beachfront kite camp for riders of every level, from first-timers to advanced kiters focused on progression. Founder Brendan Rider started it after sailing from Colombia to Panama through the San Blas Islands. That trip became their first kite cruise, and soon after they set up a kitesurfing guesthouse in Punta Chame, Panama. Today Brendan runs the company with Ronja Geppert. They have more than 10 years of experience, and the owners personally run their kite camps and most of their cruises. Their two signature Adventures follow the wind through the year. From May to October, the Egypt Kite Cruise spends a week aboard a luxury motor yacht in the Red Sea. It sails out of Hurghada and moves between desert-island kite spots based on the wind rather than a fixed itinerary. From December to April, the Panama Kite House in Punta Chame puts riders right on the country's main kitesurfing beach, with the area's sandbars and lagoons close by. For private groups, The Rider Experience also arranges luxury catamaran and motor yacht kite cruises in the Bahamas, Panama's San Blas archipelago, St Vincent and the Grenadines, the Greek Cyclades, and Sardinia and Corsica, as well as private charters in Egypt. They can also send experienced kite instructors and boat crew to join a yacht a group already owns or has chartered. Every trip is built around maximum quality time on the water. That means lessons and coaching with radio helmets, current Duotone and Core equipment, and a social, small-group atmosphere. The operator says roughly half of their riders come back to rebook.

Egypt Kite Cruise – MY Falcon, Hurghada
The Egypt Kite Cruise is The Rider Experience's shared kite trip in Egypt's Red Sea, running weekly from May to October. Since 2025, every shared cruise has run aboard MY Falcon. It's a four-deck luxury motor yacht, renovated for the 2026 season, with a jacuzzi, sauna, massage room, and ensuite twin, double, and suite cabins. Riders board at the marina in Hurghada on Saturday afternoon, and the yacht heads to the first kite spot the next morning. During the week, the boat moves three or four times between desert islands and shallow lagoons, picking spots based on the wind rather than a set route. Tenders shuttle riders to the beach throughout the day, from sunrise sessions through sunset. The yacht is the base for meals, downtime, and evenings together. It returns to the marina Friday afternoon, and riders disembark Saturday morning.

The Panama Kite House is The Rider Experience's all-inclusive kitesurfing guesthouse. It sits directly on the main kitesurfing beach in Punta Chame, next to the local fishing village. It's open each year from December to April, Panama's windy season, and it's the base for kiting, lessons, downwinders, boat trips to the sandbars, and no-wind day trips. Accommodation ranges from private seaview cabins with their own bathrooms, terraces, and hammocks to a single room, glamping tents, a quad room, and a six-bed dorm. Facilities include a pool, a self-service beach bar, WiFi with space to work, and two air compressor stations, one with a hose that runs onto the beach. Meals are shared, so riders staying here eat together, kite together, and join the day's activities as a group.

The Kitesurfer's Villa is The Rider Experience's more private accommodation option in Punta Chame. It's about 150 meters from the Panama Kite House and 50 meters from the beach. The villa has four guest rooms set around a large tropical garden with a pool, hot tub, and chill-out areas. There's also a floodlit tennis and pickleball court and ping pong, and massages can be arranged at the villa on request. Villa guests have full access to the Kite House facilities and equipment storage. They can choose bed and breakfast, half board, or full board, with meals served at the Kite House. The villa suits couples, families, groups, solo travelers, and digital nomads who want more privacy while staying steps from the kite beach.
