Dragonfly Kite Safaris runs weeklong, all-inclusive kitesurfing and wing foiling safaris on Egypt's Red Sea, based out of Hurghada. Guests live aboard DRAGON, the company's 60-meter, five-level mega-yacht, and spend the week riding at uninhabited islands north of Hurghada that can only be reached by boat, including Tawila, North and South Geisum, Ashrafi, and Abu Mongar. Dragonfly is owned and run by Jonathan Thesenga and Islam Ali, and has operated on the Red Sea for eight seasons. Every safari is staffed and run by their own team, including the owners. They don't consolidate or sell bookings to other operations, so a confirmed trip stays a confirmed trip. They've won Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Award three years running (2023, 2024, and 2025), and they describe themselves as the only kite safari on the Red Sea officially partnered with Duotone. What sets their safaris apart is the open itinerary. Many kite safaris sail a fixed route between a couple of islands. Dragonfly checks the forecast each evening and moves the yacht to wherever conditions look best for the next day. That might be a kilometer-wide lagoon of waist-deep water, an island-hopping downwinder, or a session off a small sandbar. The spots are shallow and sand-bottomed, with clean north/northwest wind, so they work as well for first-timers as for riders working on new tricks. Scheduled safaris run Saturday to Saturday during the Red Sea's peak wind season, May through October, and are capped at 26 guests. Groups of up to 28 can also charter the whole yacht for a private safari with their own dates, guest list, and itinerary. Beginners, advanced riders, couples, families, solo travelers, and non-kiters are all welcome. Lessons, Duotone rental gear, and non-kiting activities are available on board.

Eagle Pass Heli is a heliskiing operator based in Revelstoke, British Columbia, running trips in the Monashee Mountains — a region known for deep, consistent snowfall and legendary tree skiing. Their defining feature is small-group heliskiing: they fly exclusively in groups of four, paired with the agile A-Star helicopter, which lets guides reach terrain and landings that larger operations can't access and lets each day's plan flex around the group actually on it. Their permit area spans a varied landscape deep in the Monashees, including expansive glaciers, alpine bowls, long chutes, open forests, and regenerating burns, with enough poor-weather terrain nearby that down days are rare. The operation is built around three touchpoints in Revelstoke: a downtown office (opened 2013), a purpose-built 5,800-square-foot Day Heli base (opened 2014) that serves as the meeting point for day and private guests, and the 12-bedroom Eagle Pass Lodge (opened 2017), located about 10 minutes outside downtown Revelstoke for multi-day guests. Eagle Pass Heli offers three main formats: Day Heli packages, multi-day Lodge packages, and Private packages, with seasonal specials (Deep December, Spring Heli) running at different points in the winter. The operation is geared toward expert backcountry skiers and snowboarders, and guest ability requirements are laid out on their own site for anyone assessing fit before booking.
